Job Title: Conference Producer- Training

Reporting to: Manager or Managing Director (this may change)

Enigma Consulting Group (EnigmaCG) delivers high quality, cost effective training solutions to our clients and candidates in contract and permanent markets. The role will be working as part of the Training team based in any of its global offices.

As a Conference Producer - Training your focus will be supporting the team to carry out their duty in selling programmes clients which fundamentally lead to generating revenue. You will be responsible for end to end costing, producing and sourcing of trainers to ensure that the programmes being sold are cost effective. The role will also require taking responsibility and leading the efforts for local site administration, as well as being highly involved in client focussed administrative tasks including project management and carrying out P&L responsibilities. This post will be split effectively 50/50 across the two main requirements. It will however be your responsibility to fully understand and qualify the details of the specification to enable you to perform your role.

Role Function

Working closely with the Training team to complete the following:-

  • Conducting telephone interviews with trainers within a target market to develop conference agenda
  • Identifying, inviting and confirming appropriate speakers for conferences
  • Meeting established deadlines as set by the Manager
  • Writing marketing material for point of sale to be distributed by the sales team
  • Conducting ongoing research within an assigned area to further industry knowledge and develop potential new conference ideas
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives and media within relevant vertical market
  • Servicing customers in a professional, service-oriented manner during execution of daily work and onsite at conferences
  • Attending and overseeing conferences, including providing opening introduction, speaker assistance and support
  • Researching and providing the marketing department with strategic information required to market conferences, including: detailed information on the target market both in terms of industry sectors and disciplines and geographic markets, relevant industry associations, industry publications, and competitive event
  • Providing the sponsorship department with strategic information on potential sponsorship opportunities. Providing ongoing support to sponsorship as required.
  • Working with and supporting a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences.
